MULTI-COUNTRY PROJECTS

OSSHD Participated on different programs that was implemented to a regional level. Some of those projects are: Harm Reduction project, Link-up project and Ready Projects.

The HIV and harm reduction in Eastern Africa regional project is a three year (2015-2018) Global Fund grant program designed for implementation in eight countries. This multi country program has been led by KANCO (the Principal Recipient) of Kenya. The other partners are sub recipients of NGOs from Burundi, Ethiopia, Mauritius, Seychelles, Uganda, Tanzania and Zanzibar. The overall goal of the project is to increase access to HIV and harm reduction services for people who inject drugs in Eastern Africa.

Link Up was conceived and was implemented by a consortium comprising of The International HIV/AIDS Alliance (IHAA), Marie Stopes International (MSI), Population Council (PC), Stop AIDS NOW! (SAN!), the Global Youth Coalition on HIV/AIDS (GYCA) and the ATHENA Network (ATHENA). This consortium is a uniquely qualified and experienced partnership of organizations, each bringing their own specific added value.
