Projects Currently Implementing

Community Based Integration of HIV/AIDS and SRH Service Program

Core Areas of Expertise

Since its inception, the organization has been moving on the focused community centered HIV/AIDS programming whereby thousands of people have been able to get direct access to HIV prevention programs, care and support services and capacity building interventions. Following the organizational reforms made in 2016 OSSHD began to focus on the diverse interests through the introduction of more programmatic areas such as HIV/AID and SRH programs, prevention of gender based violence (GBV), sanitation and hygiene (School WaSH), maternal, neonatal and child health, livelihood, etc. These project activities have been planned and implemented in compatible with the government development plans (GTPs), strategies and sector development programs. This makes OSSHD to build strong partnership with the government structure that ranges from regional to kebele level and among the communities at grassroots levels as well.
